Members of our Association stayed in Milan from 06.-09.03.2025. They had the opportunity to have a pleasant time and visit the sights of this beautiful Italian city (Santa Maria delle Grazie, Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, Teatro alla Scala, Duomo, Giardini Pubblici di Porta Venezia...). Optional excursions were also organized, such as a trip to Genoa, the sixth largest city in Italy, located on the shores of the Ligurian Sea, and a tour of its sights (Ferrari Square, Opera, Doge's Palace, St. Lawrence Cathedral, La Lanterna lighthouse, Christopher Columbus' house). An optional excursion was also organized to the town of Como on the lake of the same name, approximately 45km from Milan. Lake Como is famous for the villas located on the shores of this lake, which are now mostly owned by the Italian and world elite, famous fashion designers, actors, but also politicians and other public figures. Upon arrival in Como, we will visit the most important buildings: the Monument to the Fallen Soldiers, the Volta Temple, Piazza Cavour and the Duomo. At the agreed time, we will depart for Lugano (SWITZERLAND) and visit: Parco Civico and Villa Ciani, the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. In Lugano, we ended the day with a visit to the "Alprose" chocolate factory and a tasting of their delicious products. Until the next trip...
